On the village square, the entrance gate to the estate opens onto a chartreuse
which conceals the soul of the estate... the enclosure: ten hectares corseted between the village houses and encircled by a three-meter-high stone wall
. To this part have been added 20 hectares extending over the famous and superb Podensac plateau,
le plateau des vieux moulins, the highest quality and most renowned terroir in the southern Graves.

the estate

An exceptional location

It all began in the Second Empire, on the estate of the Marquis de Calvimont. The lands of Château de Cérons were split into two parts following the construction of the national road linking Bordeaux to Spain. As a result, the Grand Enclos du Château de Cérons gained its independence, accumulating over 200 years of life.

the wines

Perfect expression of terroir

The Domaine's different wine ranges are born from the constant reading, cultivation, knowledge and interpretation of the vineyard parcels. Grand Vin, Second Label and Cuvée Premium, each of these wines shares the common denominator of great terroir and the potential for excellent ageing, with bottles that never disappoint over time.

cuvée premium

The Domaine produces sparkling wines, models of balance and smoothness. At the very top of its remarkable range of wines, Grand Enclos produces a small-scale super cuvée called Elixir du Grand Enclos, available in red and white Graves when the vintage permits.

Built in the spirit of micro-parcel cuvées, giving itself every means to achieve the best of the best, Elixir du Grand Enclos is a true quintessence of terroir. In addition to the usual volume and body, it boasts tenfold depth and an unparalleled ability to read aromas.
